Not at all — this course is designed for complete beginners. You don't need any prior nail experience to start. The 94 lessons take you through everything step by step, from nail anatomy and salon safety right through to BIAB application, infills, and removal. If you already have some experience, you'll find the structured approach helps fill any gaps and refine your technique.

Most students complete the theory in 2–4 weeks studying a few hours at a time — but there's no deadline and no fixed schedule. You have lifetime access, so you can move as quickly or as slowly as suits you. Some students work through it over a weekend; others spread it out over a few months around work and family.

The optional kit includes all the professional BIAB products and tools you need to practise and start working with clients — sourced from professional-grade suppliers. It's designed to save you time tracking down equipment separately and to make sure you're using the right products from day one.
